Dental Hygiene Health & Wellness

Your Best Line of Defense

When it comes to oral health, there’s no substitute for a good, steady brushing and flossing regimen. It’s your first line of defense against tooth decay, gum disease and other oral health problems that can cost you a lot of pain and agony (and money!) down the road.

Professional Cleanings

Our dental hygienists have the training, expertise, and good old fashioned friendliness that it takes to give you a great experience while they deep clean your teeth. After all, there are some things, such as tartar, that regular brushing and flossing alone can’t take care of, but we can!

On top of that, we’ll perform a thorough examination of your teeth, tongue, and gums so we catch any small issues before they become big, expensive problems.

Tips from Our Hygienists:

  • Brush your teeth really well twice a day and replace your toothbrush often (about every 3 months)
  • Floss or use an interdental cleaner at least once a day
  • Eat a balanced diet that limits between-meal snacks
  • Come see us every 3 to 6 months! 🙂

Periodontal Disease Treatment

This is a common disease that affects nearly half of the people living in the U.S.
After we discover the presence of gum disease and treat the condition, we will recommend that you start making special periodontal maintenance appointments every three or four months.

These appointments allow us to monitor your periodontal health and address any areas of recurring active infection. During your periodontal maintenance treatments, the areas affected by gum disease will receive special attention to help manage the condition and prevent it from progressing.
